At least they're no longer referring to him as a porn "star". This douche is no Jenna Jameson...

And he's pleading not guilty? What a little punk. He's all big and bad, killing defenseless people and animals, putting it on the internet and watching for stories of himself and now he's gonna puss out? Have some balls dude. Own your evil. Maybe he's afraid he'll never be able to listen to New Order again in jail.

Someone told me they heard one of the prosecutors say it will be a tough case. Huh? Tough case in what effin' way? It's a slam dunk.

    Has anyone else heard that?

    Like.

Seriously, that's what I think too.

Not a slam dunk because this was an international case and in all the headlines. Not just newspapers but tv and the far-reaching internet. So it's going to be hard to find people who haven't been influenced in some way to be jurors. And then both sides have to agree on those who haven't.

And there's international law to deal with when it comes to gathering evidence. Not what whatshisface put online but necessary tangible evidence.

There's other stuff too when it comes to why the prelim was set so far out. But I think those two are the biggies.

I caught a bit of write-up in the weekend paper and he is complaining he grew up with no boundaries and "desperately wanted them". The finger pointing has begun.

I grew up with an incomplete set of Beatles bubble-gum cards and "desperately wanted them". That's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it.

    My two cents:

I’m convinced he has an accomplice. I’ve (reluctantly) watched parts of the cat videos, and at least one of them was definitely filmed by a second person, while Magnotta did the killing. Now, a head shows up on Canada Day (which I understand is a pretty big deal)? If it does belong to Jun Lin, it just seems a little too… orchestrated. Perhaps the accomplice saw to it that the head would be found when it was?

    All speculation, of course.

Canada day is akin to the fourth of July. This one also happened to be the bicentennial of the war of 1812 and the fiftieth anniversary of Medicare, so it was an even bigger deal.

I agree that the timing suggests another person though.

This wackjob started a Facebook fan page for Magnotta, and was apparently in contact with him up until his arrest. At the very least, she was aware of what he was up to. It certainly wouldn't hurt to bring her in for questioning.

Also, this (regarding Jun Lin): “I couldn’t care less about that dude. I think that if anyone is a victim in this case, it is Luka … because of all the bullying he had to endure before the murder.”

I hope his family can have a little peace now. It's bad enough that they have lost a child, but to be denied his body because some sicko wants to traumatize people is unthinkable.

Another (probably convoluted, but hey) theory: in the video, the actual killing isn’t shown; everything he does to the body is postmortem. You’d think a narcissist like him would leave nothing out. Maybe he wanted the infamy that goes along with murdering someone, but didn’t have the stomach/nerve to do the deed himself? That could be where the accomplice that I mentioned earlier comes in.

I know, it sounds like the plot of some crappy police procedural, but I do think there is more to this case than meets the eye. Just thought I’d throw this out there.

Interesting theory, Morbida. My theory is that he was thinking ahead. If the actual killing wasn't taped how could you prove he did it? Maybe he thought he could get away with defiling a body.

I read on one of the links here that they have found a longer version of the video on his computer, I would guess that includes the killing that was cut out of the one he put online.

Ugh. I learned that when I looked at the "Porshe Girl" pics from CHP that were circulating a few years ago. Too bad we don't have memory bleach, or a pill like Computer restore back to a certain date BEFORE you saw the nastiness.

I totally think he has an acomplice. I stil think Hell's Princess of Evil karla homolka is in communication with him. There is a pic of him floating around holding her baby with her husband thierry bordelais. (lower case on purpose. No respect from me.)

I heard a couple of days ago, that not all narcissists are serial killers, but all serial killers are narcissists.
I get SO tired of people blaming thier childhood or abuse or neglect or not having the right shoes for a party as a reason why they "snapped" and went all homicidal. I think it's BULL$762. Sometimes, it is the reason, but very rarely do I believe it. I ams o hardline about that because of my and my bros childhood. Sexual abuse, physical violence, domestic violence on my mother, emotional abuse to all of us, neglect, not enough food, you name it, it went on in our house. My dad even moved his girlfriend in our house, and made my mom do all the laundry!!! It was her best friend before she started balling my dad, and it was some weird a**sh&^. My brother and I, while we may not be perfectly fine with relationships, are not criminals or sniffing crack. I think it's a weak excuse. Not to say that addiction is a personality flaw, I believe it is an illness, and abuse can make people use to shut out the pain, and I get that. I'm just pi$$ed that every other perp has an abuse excuse going. I hope I didn't offend anyone. Rant over.

Yes, everyone has an excuse. Sometimes I will feel pity and sympathy for some killers the way they were brought up but after about oh say 30 seconds that feeling pretty much passes into the ether.

Uni, I know you don't want anyone feeling sorry for you but I give you much credit and hugs for coming out of a nightmare with your hat on straight. While we all are interested in the details of a murder and it's aftermath we pay no attention to the many who went through the same thing as the killer may have and came out the other end as a whole person.

    Hugs to you (((((((Uni)))))))
