Not watching that video. Nope nope. I think that would be akin to watching a beheading, which I will never ever, ever, ever do again.

Was there a shoe on the severed foot?

That's getting too close to home for comfort. We have our own hard-working cannibals to support, thank you very much. Do not send us your tired, your poor, your flesh-eating canibals yearning to breathe free. Do not send these, your tempest tossed, to me.

If traveled by rail from Paris, he probably passed through Goettingen station. There's a scary thought.

Another one bites the dust. My only fear is the media coverage is going to feed his narcissism in a big way. I would be happy to have a black out on media coverage on the trial. Why the hell should I have to pay so he can get his jollies?

Here is an edited version of Magnotta's kitten crimes. Nothing graphic - but it describes what he did in detail.

That's exactly what he was doing! You know what they say, any publicity is good publicity.

What a creepy looking dude. He's got those dead eyes. Ugh!

He isn't fighting extradition. That surprises me. I thought he'd gum up the works in a bid for more attention. Radio says that the German court has until this afternoon to find a reason to keep his rear in jail though...

POS. He can't die soon or horribly enough. Probably won't though. And that is a shame.

This is the worst thing I have wished on another human, but this.....thing....isn't human. Disgusted.

That's just the normal Haftpruefungstermin/review hearing and basically a formality. Everyone is entitled to one within I think 48 hours of being arrested. They will take him to the nearest magistrates' court and establish that he is indeed the person the Canadians are looking for, and then it's back to the cell he goes.

Every German local court has a judge on duty 24/7 for these review hearings.

I wonder what it would be like to interpret for this guy. I've worked with some evil people in my day, but no one of this caliber.

According to Bild-Zeitung, he took a bus from Paris to Berlin. WTF, I would have gone German Rail!

Apparently he was arrested in Neukoelln, which is one of the neighborhoods in Berlin where my son and his girlfriend have been looking for a flat.

I find it interesting that he auditioned for an OUTtv show and claimed that he was overweight until he started running, and described himself as "Devastatingly handsome". I think we're gonna hear that he had a Norman Bates/Christina Crawford/Gollum type childhood.
    Or grew up at Jane/Finch.

Who's picking on BC? usually it's Toronto (undeservedly) or Montrteal (deservedly, especially in teh Magnotta case) that get picked on.

It's me. I'm the nasty gapper that called them all dirty hippies.

*chuckles* Don't mind me Jane, I was kidding around. I have to defend BC since it's where my guy is from and I've fallen in love with what I've seen of the area where he lives.

Jane: Does my boyfriend's neighborhood count? *giggles* I think that's about as far as I've seen personally. Otherwise it's all been pictures. He lives 30 minutes away from Vancouver. I've seen the area around his family's cabin too. Beautiful up there, especially in the winter.

I wonder why he would send them to those particular schools. St George's private school I can understand but the False Creek one?

And again with the crisis counselors. I have a real bone to pick with these people(no pun intended). They are like vultures who swoop down and take advantage of a bad situation.

I believe more money should be spent on mental health care. I believe there should be more facilities, awareness, and access to help. My problem is with this lame assed group of travellin' therapists.

The people who opened the packages and the rest of the office staff should definitely have help at hand but why does the whole damn school need it? Is this a symptom of a generation that is so fragile that the mere mention of murder or body part gives them the vapours?

Anyway, good morning and have a nice day!

The victim's family has arrived from China to collect the body.

I think they're in for a long wait...

We never had this when I was at school. There were several tragedies that I remember but no group grief counselling. That was left up to our parents who deemed it necessary. We had morgue visits when someone killed themselves drunk driving as well.

One news report mentioned a third foot has turned up?!?!? What kind of people are they raising in China these days?
Anyway, cops still need to come up with a head and - as far as I can tell - two legs and two arms.

Nope not bad at all. I can't take animal abuse videos but can watch the human ones (not this one though, I really don't think I could)
