CTV News reported Wednesday night that a note sent with the severed foot warned that more body parts had been sent in the mail and that the person behind the dismemberment would kill again.
CTV's Ottawa Bureau Chief Robert Fife reported late Wednesday that the note said six body parts had been distributed.

Police are now studying the gruesome video, which was believed to have been taken by the suspect, identified today by police as Luka Rocco Magnotta.
Magnotta is wanted in connection with the discovery of a man’s torso stuffed in a locked suitcase in Montreal — whose hand and foot were mailed to Ottawa.

The nearly 11-minute video purports to show Mr. Magnotta attacking a naked man, who is tied to a bed frame, with both an ice pick and a kitchen knife, according to the description. The victim is stabbed, has his throat slashed and is later decapitated and dismembered.
The video, filmed in a dimly lit room, also shows the killer playing with his victim’s limbs and using one of them to masturbate. The attacker later performs a sex act on the dismembered, decapitated corpse. He also uses a knife and fork to slice a piece of fatty flesh from the victim’s rear, and then brings in a dog to eat the purported corpse.
You know, there are certain things I'll watch out of curiousity, but THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!
I've read that it's over at the NYC or whatever that one site is called. No fucking way. It sounds like every horrible shock video thrown into a blender.

From what I read on the video, there were at least 4 cyclists who rode by and saw & did nothing. They should be ashamed of themselves & quite honestly, they should be arrested for not helping this poor helpless man.

Police have now identified the victim as Lin Jun, a 33 year-old from China who was a university student.
It really bothers me that this Magnotta guy is still out there, somewhere. I keep checking for updates on the story, hoping to read that he's been apprehended or is dead.

No worries. It genuinely wasn't a homophobic remark. I know a lot of totally straight guys who act like they should have maribou nighties and smelling salts. Either way in this case the guy's sexuality is a non issue because he's such a psycho.
I find it interesting that he auditioned for an OUTtv show and claimed that he was overweight until he started running, and described himself as "Devastatingly handsome". I think we're gonna hear that he had a Norman Bates/Christina Crawford/Gollum type childhood.
I am able to stomach a lot of things but I refuse to watch that video. Just not going to go there.
And now the French authorities are looking for body parts there. Sheesh.
John Gormley on CJME talk radio this morning listed the owner of the site (who is based out of Edmonton) as his loser of the day, and named the guy by name. I think he'll be getting hate mail like crazy soon.
