She lives very near me, I think in Keller, or Colleyville, TX.
She's married and from what I've heard, still looks and sounds like she used to.
My ex's wife ran into her in a gym in Keller.
she was a funny lady, I remember watching her on laugh-in.
I am a sick puppy....woof woof!!!

I'd be surprised if anyone else watched or remembers this.
It was a live action Sat. morning show.
Ruth Buzzi and Jim Nabors played alien androids on a space ship with a couple kids from earth. They somehow went off course and ended up traveling through space trying to get the kids back to earth.
It was called "The Lost Saucer."
That's where I know Ruth Buzzi the best from.

I watched The Last Saucer when I was a kid.
Anyone remember her as magician Dominick the Great's (Dom Deluise) assistant Shagundala (or something like that) on the old Garry Moore Show?
Damn am I that old?
Oh goody, Ruth Buzzi's HS yearbook is still online:

Her high school pic looks more like Rachel Maddow than Rachels does.
I don't think it was the Garry Moore Show, but a show called "The Entertainers" which was on CBS on Friday nights in 1964 and lasted 13 weeks. It starred Carol Burnett, Bob Newhart, and John Davidson. Ruth Buzzi and Dom DeLuise were also featured regulars. I enjoyed watching it as a kid. Carol Burnett was in an auto accident during the run, and was absent for many episodes, which may have shortened its run.
Ruth Buzzi Makes Southlake Primary Home
Must be, because Mama says she has sold her Hollywood Hills House.I had heard that Miss Buzzi and her uber loaded hubby Kent Perkins just love Texas and have quite the spread in Southlake.
Skatetown USA.....she was in that too
Ruth could make the audience roar with laughter when she beat Dean Martin and others with that purse. She and Dean were so good on camera together. By watching them, you can Dean really cares for her.
Ruth Buzzi to Angie Dickinson: "Who do you think you would be without that beautiful hair, those beautiful clothes, and makeup?"
Dean Martin: "You!"
I think we've all done this: we've read of the death of an entertainer we loved but had not thought of in a long time and thought, "Dang it! He's gone and I miss him; wished I'd paid more attention and appreciated him when he was alive." Ruth Buzzi is still alive and well (as far as I know) so we all need to follow her on Twitter while we can. All the funny she has developed over the decades is on display there.

She played a gym teacher in the original "Freaky Friday". Classic.
At first, I saw this and thought, Ruth Buzzi passed away a while ago, having purportedly been taken advantage of by her last (much-younger) husband...I had to re-scroll through SM’s Directory. I was thinking of Martha Raye.
Here’s to Ruth Buzzi!!

I always seem to get her mixed up with Lily Tomlin.
