Pneumonia is a bitch...it takes alot of lives still, mainly old people and people with low immune system but still. What a tragedy for a young healthy woman succumbing to to it.. wonder if she had some ailment, that could have weakend her Very beautiful lady... don´t think I know her from anything.. but remember Kevin Hagen very well... Danish tv is rerunning LHOTP at the moment, so I am watching him regularily as doc. Baker

When she went to visit her actress friend Renate Ewert in Munich in late 1966, she discovered her dead in her apartment (she had already been dead for six days; other sources say three weeks). This experience troubled her a great deal and thus rumours abounded following her own death in a private clinic after contracting pneumonia. The fact is that her death was caused by medical malpractice during the recovery phase.
