    Myrtle Windle - A Real-Life Eleanor Rigby

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ied-alone.html

Sadly, a woman died recently in England--and the care home is seeking mourners for her funeral. No family or friends are known...I surely hope a lot will turn out for Myrtle Windle's funeral.

That is nice that the home is trying to find old friends and relatives to attend.

Aww that is really sad! Her only possessions were faded photos, a few letters and her mum's death certificate!
Nobody should ever be lonely, or die forgotten! That was a sad article to read!

That is so sad..I always felt so sad for Eleanor Rigby in the song and couldn't imagine being so alone..I suppose she is fortunate to have these care workers looking out for her still. RIP Mrs. Windle.

Wow, that is more than a little depressing. Poor old woman!
