Just paid 4.79 a gallon for regular unleaded here. You guys on the east coast and the mid west dont know how good you have it. Weve been paying ovr 4 bucks a gallon for the past 3 months. Its my firm opinion by July 4th we will be paying 5 bucks a gallon or more. At least here in Caliifornia. 6 bucks or more by the end of the year.

Dont think your escaping the oil prices if you dont own a car. Everything in your home or that you use is oil based. Plastics , bricks and even if your food, look at the label ... has oil in it.

Theres a station in Redwood City here that sells gas for 5.32 a gallon. Nobody stops there. Ive seen it twice this week passing by. Just got super for my 65 Mercury. I spent 112 dollars and ran out of money in my wallet. Car still is only 3 quarters full. Super was selling for 5.07 in South San Francisco today

$5.19 Here at one of the local gas stations.

I would say close to $6.00 around the 4th of July!

Waaaay too much, I walked to the store last night. Then I biked up to my Trader Joes today. If I have a close errand, from now on I'm biking or walking. These gas prices have just gone way too far.

When I come to the Wet uh...West coast two years ago plus- there was a mini gas price crisis..I remember paying somewhere around 1.34 or 1.36 in Sudbury..and it was like that across Canada. Severely screwed with my budget, as I had calculated gas at .99 at the time.

Having said that...$1.46.8 per litre here today.
But then- the gas stations out here have some stupid promotion thing that even thought the pump says one thing it's actually 3 cents a litre cheaper.
Stupid...just put the freakin' accurate gouging price on the sign!
Vancouver taxes gas up the wazoo, to pay for the "transit" system.
hmmm... TTC doesn't do that in T.O. does it?
    Don't think so.

Here in Texas, we have grocery stores with gas stations, one called HEB, there's good ole Wally World, randalls, and then Kroger. All of them offer cheaper gas in conjunction with a savings card of some sort, with the exception of WM. You have to purchase gas there with either a gift card from walmart or a walmart credit card. We can save up to 15 cents a gallon with this, and earn mrechandise points as well with others. So I get gas depending on who has the best 'deal' that day.
That said, I paid 3.79 a gallon to fill up my monster, the truck. It cost about 76 bucks to fill it up. But, given that I work from home, and now school is out, that may last me two weeks or more. Since hubtard carpools and has a s POS car with great mileage now to drive to work...

    £1.18 a litre which is about $8.69 a gallon.

Luckily we only own a motorbike and not a car and that's only used to get to work, we walk the rest of the time.

$3.99 in Northeastern Ohio. I spend $45 filling up my Corolla yesterday. The good news is, I put 50 miles on it yesterday, and the gas needle barely moved.

Gas prices in London two years ago when I was there were HORRIBLE and obviously worse now. I feel bad!

$3.80 here in NE Oklahoma, for regular unleaded. Diesel is $4+. I feel sorry for your guys on the coasts! I'm trying not to make so many stupid, needless trips. Just running back and forth to the store will get you.

Jesus - I wish I could buy my petrol/gas in USA it's cheap - in Britain we're paying £1.20 per litre (2.2 litres per gallon). There's also a shortage because the delivery drivers are on strike, and petrol prices are going up on a weekly basis. This will knock -on to other increased costs - such as food deliveries. People are sick and tired of the whole situation.

Don't let it annoy you, blame Harry Enfield.

lol I don't stereotype anyone. Being of scouse origin and living with a scouse I don't take offence at my own 'faux stereotypical' posts.

Apologies if for some non existent reason you were offended.

A Devon petrol station has been charging £1.99 a litre - more than £9 a gallon - as nearly 400 forecourts in the county suffered dwindling supplies.

Today...$4.89 for regular, I get "Plus" so $4.99/gallon this morning. Used to cost me $35 to fill up (when I bought my SUV 5 years ago), now it's $80. Thank God I live in the city, not the 'burbs. I would shoot myself at this point if I had to commute.
