Lol when I looked at yours it looked like it said 130 dollars lol. I think we're sitting at the same here in Sask today.

    That's about 4.95 a gallon I think.

I have to ask what kind of vehicle. I love cars and trucks even though I drive junk at this point and put all our money in our boats and bikes.

I have to run premium in my 61 Buick. The car when new ran on 98 octane leaded gasoline. I put the highest octane gasoline in it, along with a small bottle of octane boost. It knocks and pings and falls flat on its face if I use anything else.

Buick??? Cool! I still dream I find my old 69 Charger and it still runs. I wish I had never sold it.
I have a chance to get a 1963 plymouth Valient that is white with a pink roof. It is a 6 with a 3 speed on the column. It was my cousin's mother's car and he preserved it when she passed and now he has passed and his wife wants to know if I want it.
I think I am definately going to take it. Even if I trade it plus some cash for a restored Chevy Nomad I have had my eye on for a while.

PM me sometime Mary, dont buy a New York car ... ill find you that same car, decent priced and not even a quarter of the rust you get being in New York. Cardinal rule, never buy a used car from the East Coast. They rust out inside a year or 2.

Thanks for the offer. You amke sense about the rust. They Plymouth would be a kentucky car. So midsouth rather than eastcoast but I am sure a magnet woudl fall right off the side of the nomad if you get my drift.

I just scored a 1975 Monte Carlo in San Jose, Ca. The seller said his mechinac said it needs a valve job. They dont do valve jobs really anymore. I looked at its 350 4 barrel carb motor and saw that like 2 plug wires were fried. Thats why its been missing so badly. I bought the car for 1500 bucks, no rust, factory air, Captins swevel seats and T-Tops. Wow that was a swingin deal. I thought about pulling all the smog stuff off it since its a Fresno, Ca car, but im going to keep it as it was when it came off the factory. Im just adjusting the vacumm lines on it a bit.

As soon as im satisfied with it, ill flip it and make a few thousand bucks on it

Just past the gas station and it's $3.89 in Southern Illinois. If I drive over to St. Louis it's usually 20 cents cheaper. Sometimes it's worth it, sometimes not so much.

$3.69. I so can't wait to move closer to work so I don't have to spend nearly $50 to fill my car up every 1 1/2 weeks. >.<

I feel your pain! My 300 hit the empty mark today and when I looked at the miles I'd gotten on that tank I nearly wept!
