I am in lower Westchester, NY.
last week I go to the pump and see $3.11 for regular. Thinking I will outsmart the system I put in only $10 assuming tomorrow or the next day it will be a little cheaper... NOT! next day $3.25. So I then filled it up like the moron I am... when it goes to $5.00 I will find a job in walking distance.
About $3.15 here

Where did you find that piece of fine stencil art, do you know who it was by? I love it! Can you bring me my chapstick...my lips hurt real bad!!!
By the way our prices are around $1.35(Au) per litre, which I assume yours are by gallon would work out to be $6.13 (Au) or US$5.49... But I assume as usual it will get worse at christmas and get up to $1.5/litre, it always skyrockets then!
Duncan Cumming. But go look at Banksy's stuff.

Roughly $3.00 a gallon here in Salt Lake
i don't know what the dollar conversion is compared to where i am but here it is around $1.10 to $1.20 roughly!that's per litre.
Exactly. Over £1 a litre over here at the moment. There is serious talk of national 'go slow' protests on the motorways/freeways by convoys of trucks and barricades to/from refineries. Why so high a price? TAXES. About two-thirds of the price.
You guys have got it easy!!!!
$3.08 in my corner of VA.
Well, I heard on the news this morning, that oil was about $28 a barrell when Bush first took office and now it's about $100...
I really doubt those greedy oil merchants and Haliburton are going to want to take the $28 a barrel again...![]()
I think i got gas from $2.98 a few days ago.
It's about $3.25 here or so.
"Death doesn't really worry me that much, I'm not frightened about it... I just don't want to be there when it happens."
Wow, I didn't realize it was so much higher in other places. I thought mine was expensive when I filled up today for $2.89/gal.
3.11 for regular 3.19 for mid 3.29 for high test. I dont use the car except to go straight to a necessary place and back. Any of that driving to the country or crusing thru town stuff is over.
it's holding at 2.99 here
Tonight it was at 2.98 for regular unleaded. San Antonio TX here..wonder why TX prices are cheaper?? Anyone??

$3.09 in Cincinnati
I would guess that in Texas you have refinery facilities fairly near many locations, which is certainly not the case in many other parts of the country. Transporting the gas/petrol adds to it's cost. Different states have different tax levies which can push the price higher, as well.
Ours is $3.24/gallon for 87 octane regular. (southeastern Wisconsin)
