oh gross...the more I hear about this guy the less concern I have that he was kicked off the planet.
I told my lawyer he's better step it up or we would both end up on an episode of "SNAPPED"

Wow...she beat out 50 other inmates in an "American Idol" style Christmas carol contest...her rendition of "O Holy Night" isn't bad...but oh shit son it's creepy. You can see the video clip as part of the Huffington Post photo gallery.

This story is INSANE! Wow. Gruesome photos. I saw some on Headline News. That crazy b**** needs to be put away (at the very least). If this man had been my family, I would want her to get death! Horrible.

I would like to know how the attack unfolded. I can't imagine how she incapacitated him. I read on HLN that the gun shot did not occur until later in the attack. She is not very big, BUUUUT clearly crazy.
That first picture of him is haunting.

I wonder about that too, Zee!! Clearly he fought very hard during the attack. Was she hopped up on something? This case is so strange!!

It is so bizarre, Mar. How in the hell did she get around him to cut his throat? It appears he fought back...even with the knife wounds he couldn't overpower her? If the gun shot was at the beginning then I could understand but I'm freaking lost....

I have spent a lot of time watching the HLN news clips and one of them was a proposed outline of the attack. They say that she stabbed him in the chest first and he tried to get to the door (that is why there is blood everywhere in his room). After that she drug him back to the bathroom and shot him in the head and then slit his throat.

The pic of him whilst still alive just seems off. My hubby was forced to listen to the videos I was watching last night, and he hypothesizes that she was threatening him with a gun or knife the whole time, so he was under duress during a lot of the "photo shoot". My hubby also said maybe he was placating her to see if he could get her to calm down so he could disarm her. She obviously went there with the intent of hurting him or she wouldn't have had weapons. Crazy sad story. If I was his family I would commit my life to making sure she got the death penalty

Since the throat sliting was at the end, I think it was more symbolic than anything. She almost decapitated him. The medical examiner said the cut was all the way to the spine. I wonder how she drug him back in the shower if his head was about to come off. That is determination.

I was going to give this "bombshell" the benefit of the doubt just going by her mugshot but seeing her all made up didn't make it much better. And she's a psycho to boot. I wonder if this story will make it to Pretty Bad Girls on ID.

So I watched a bit of the trial today, am watching Nancy Grace tonight about this case. If you go back and click on the link of photos that Shejay sent us (and thank you for those!), they have added more. Apparently just before the murder, she/they took provocative naked photos of each other with the same camera that the others were on. This is one wicked woman!!!!

I'm sure this has been posted but so creepy to see her "In Loving Memory" album. Why didn't she make this private?

Ok I too am at a loss. How the hell did she have the strength to drag a kicking body and then a dead body around the house like that?

Yup. I'm with ya. I think DeathGoddess' post is probable but he couldn't get to her? Even wielding a knife? The look on his face looks so crazy. Fear? Drugged? Help me, Miho.

So after I watched Nancy Grace, I watched Dr. Drew (?). Some possible theories as to how she was able to overcome her victim were: adrenaline rush; pure rage; and something else I can't remember. (Well aren't I just a super source of info!! LOL). I'm going with the rage. Speculation is that all may have been going well between them until he could have told her that he was still going to Cancun with another woman. Doesn't quite explain why she brought the gun (unless she was prepared for that answer), but it would explain the rage. And I agree with some of the commentary I've heard. Her attorney is an idiot for going with self defense. Crime of passion would reportedly have been more appropriate. Personally, I don't care what she gets charged with, so long as she never sees the light of day again.

It seems like there would be more blood on the floor from the hallway from the bedroom to the bathroom. There's a bunch on the walls but not really any on the floor except for in the doorway.
Also, I didn't see anything on the autopsy diagrams that indicate he was dragged, nor do I see anything in the photos. Aren't there usually some type of drag marks left on the body?

Like rug burn? I also noticed lack of blood on the carpet. How do they think she dragged him with no blood on the carpet??

I have been watching a lot of the footage from the courtroom........I am just obsessed with this one. I can't believe she met up with another guy the day after she brutally murdered Travis and acted like everything was totally cool. 27 stab wounds, 9 in the back. I can't even imagine what he was thinking. I was watching all of the interviews with his friends and they all say she was a super creepy person.

I think the moral of the story is, if someone is creepy and none of your friends like them, just stop dating them because they might stab you to death and take pictures while they do it.

Oh, and this that she said during an interview:
"You sure it was me? I was not there. I didn't hurt Travis," Arias said.

"We have your blood at the scene. Your hair at the scene. Your left palm print at the scene," Flores said.
Flores then offered to show Arias the photos taken from the camera card. She indicated she would like to view them.

"There's a morbid curiosity. I want to know how he died ... I mean I am curious," Arias said."

You know she just wanted to see her handy work. She had to have looked at the photos before she shoved the camera in the washing machine. I still can't make out much on the photo that is supposed to be of her standing over him. I can't find a good blow-up of it online either. When I was looking for it yesterday I got taken to a porn type website that had his death pics.........Yikes!! That creeped me out a little

She totally was, she is just going through the motions. Anyone that can stab and shoot someone they just had sex with, not to mention a relationship with, doesn't feel any emotions.

It doesn't add up at all. Not the timeline or the recreation. They think she slit his throat to the bone, then dragged him back to the bathroom, then shot him him the head which caused him to spray blood all over the sink?? So he was standing at the sink during the headshot after he was nearly decapitated according to this theory? Maybe I'm just misinterpreting that. Either way the whole thing is very very strange.

She must have been channeling that adrenaline she felt when she found out he was moving on and going to Cancun with another woman. In the words of Shakespeare, "And though she be but little she is fierce".

I was watching a criminal profiler the other day and she was saying that Arias was most likely there to give him another chance to get back together. She was saying that she probably wouldn't have killed him if he would have done what she wanted and told her he loved her and wanted to get married or something like that. She went to his house with two possible scenarios and he didn't play along so she had to kill him (in her mind that was the only option).

Earlier we were talking about the lack of blood on the floor and the lack of drag marks on the body, I wonder if she had the room staged somehow so she could drag him back to the bathroom? Like A sheet on the floor or something? I guess that would mean she would have to know he was going to run down the hall to try and get away from her though, hard to predict that.

It sounded like she liked the sex to be wild anyhow, maybe this all fit with a sexual fantasy for her anyhow.

In my general obsession with this case I noticed that Travis had a dog. One of the pics from her MySpace Page (how dated is that LOL) shows a pic of him giving a treat to a dog in his kitchen. I was digging around and found him obit and it mentions his dog there too. I really hope the dog wasn't there when she brutally killed him. How traumatic for the pup if he was. I mean obviously it was probably traumatic for the victim, but you know what I mean.
I was also watching some online clips about the trial this week and they were saying that she hacked into his voicemail to delete messages from herself and went into his phone to delete all traces of their communication. She is a moron, I mean has she never watched a crime show and seen them pull phone records? Duh.

I saw that her mother was in the courtroom today. I wonder what it's like to listen to the details of how your own child slaughtered another human being. I cannot even begin to imagine the thought of someone stabbing another person over two dozen times, not to mention the shot to the head and the slit throat. I would love to know what goes through a mother's mind hearing about, not to mention seeing the cruelty her own child inflicted. Of course I feel worse for the victims family I just have to wonder what it's like to love someone who could do such a thing. I don't even want to imagine what it's like to lose someone to such a crime.

Not really, but the questions from the jury were strange. Either they weren't paying attention to the case or they thought one of the roommates was involved. They were asking questions about the roommates and why they didn't notice Travis was missing and what their alibis were, etc.

I heard another theory that she snuck up on him in the shower. They said he watched a video on his computer at 4:54, so maybe she said she was leaving and he sat at his computer for a minute and then got in the shower. Someone was saying that the first few shower pics don't look like he is posing, like maybe he thinks he is alone and she is snapping pics of him while he is unawares. It would make sense, especially with the last one where he is sitting in the floor of the shower and looks like he is scared and possibly crying. I think she may have pretended to leave and then snuck up on him with the weapons.

It was his camera in his washing machine. They had been using it to take pics of themselves during thier rendevouz earlier. She is kind of an idiot. She went to the trouble to delete the photos off the memory card, but she didn't remove the memory card. I guess she thought washing it and deleting the images would be enough? I guess the Bitch never watches CSI.
