Little Nikita was on yesterday. It wasn't one of his best movies but it was okay. His parents were Russian Spies or something. He had so much to live for - it's sad when these stars who die young dont reach their potential.
^^ Little Nikita is one of my least favorites of his movies .. I didn't care for MOPI either .. I Love you to Death wasn't either now that I think of it .. LOL .. all the others I can't complain about!

I've never heard of any pics floating around, other than the coffin pic. Ironically enough, there was a photographer at the scene who saw River seizing on the sidewalk. And guess what he did? Called 911. Imagine that!

I can't help but feel so bad for Joaquin. Seeing River die like that is horrible. I remember reading a long time ago about how Joaquin idolized his brother. River also loved Joaquin and said about his acting, that Joaquin was "better then all of us." They really loved each other.
River looks so much like his mother and Joaquin like his dad. I can't help but picture River looking down on his little brother and feeling so proud about how far he has come. Joaquin's Johnny Cash was oustanding...

River's coffin picture is what started me on my road to becoming a death hag as much as i was saddened by River's death that picture totally fascinated me, I kept that mag for years although have since lost it in the many moves through the years
I was one of the people who saw River's coffin picture and that one bothered me tremendously!! I don't care to see that one again .. I have maybe looked at it like three times, and the last time was a few years ago, but I can still see it .. Other pics dont bother me, that one does .. and yes, there can be 'death hags' who enjoy reading about this stuff , but don't like the vivid pictures and detail! So thank you for not posting it, and I don't remember seeing it posted, just linked in prior posts .. but I could be wrong!!

I miss River................ I was watching Indian Jones and the Last Crusade and my boys were watching me cry....while I was watching it........... I think when they are older (teens) I will show them the death pics of River..... I don't want them doing drugs................. I have to stop.......... His hair was short and dyed Black when he died, that pic his hair looks fair and longer so i don't think it's a death pic of him, maybe him just sleeping

I first saw the death picture of River at a local store in the Enquirer.
I had already cried like I've cried for no other celebrity over River...His death had already hit me hard, even being as young as I was.
The picture sent me over the edge of that sadness. I remember how badly it used to haunt me. And I'd try to shut the image out of my mind, only to have it pop back up every time we would drive past that particular store. The store in that building has changed, but even still sometimes as I drive past it, I get a mental image of that picture of River.
Now THAT is nuts! LOL!
Honest to god I really don't think that it is nuts at all! I remember I was 12 years old and sitting in my room, listening to music and reading... and all of the sudden the news came on over the radio and I was like paralyzed... I was in SUCH shock and disbelief, then the phone rang and my friends were calling and crying.
I still watch movies like Little Nikita and (my favorite 3 Movies) Running on Empty, Stand By Me and the Mosquito Coast and I miss him STILL a whole lot. Even today when I watch the part of Stand By Me where his character / the narrator talks about how he dies and then he disappears from the screen.. UGH.... So f'ing sad, I STILL cry over it... I really do.
Have you guys ever seen My Own Private Idaho? or Dogfight? These are also good River films.
