Stevie Ray Vaughan I was only 10 when he died but was already a fan. His shows on tv are great but seeing him live would have been awesome.

I feel so old!!!!! Put me down for Buck Owens and Porter Wagoner. I did see Elvis in June of 1977 in Jacksonville, FL before he died in August the same year.

I saw Elvis as a 17 year old with an attitude a year or two before he passed and absolutely was caught up in the 'magic'. Incredible...you had to be there. I actually cried at the end.

For me, I would want to see Lennon.

My dad offered to take me to a concert with Hoola Bandoola Band. I said no. And then one of the singers of that band died.

Gosh there are so many, I could list about a hundred but these are my most favorite:

    Patsy Cline
    Buddy Holly
    The Doors
    Lynyrd Skynyrd
    Gram Parsons

And of course Stevie Ray one more time.

My biggest regret is never getting to see Freddie Mercury perform live. *Sigh* Those were the days...I also regret never seeing John Lennon, George Harrison and a second opportunity to see Stevie Ray Vaughan. He performed at an on-campus concert when I was in college, but I hadn't been exposed to Hendrix and blues at that time. I saw the show, but wasn't crazy about the music.
After that, I became a huge SRV fan. The year that he was killed in the helicopter crash, he was featured in a Columbus, OH concert. The problem was, one couldn't attend just one show, a full booking of four concerts had to be purchased. I didn't have the cash and decided that I'd have to wait to see him the next time he got to Ohio. By the time Summer was over, Stevie Ray was gone.

    Ditto.

(Lynyrd Skynyrd isn't one single person. Ronnie Van Zant was the lead singer for Skynyrd, so I guess for many people he is Lynyrd Skynyrd).

Um....Elvis didn't play Jacksonville, FL (or anywhere near there) in June of 1977.

John Lennon, and/or the Beatles, and/or George Harrison. Of course, I was only 10 months old when John died, so I guess there's not much I can do about that. I have seen both Ringo and Paul, though. Awesome.

Elvis. He was in Pontiac, Mi in the early seventies. My then husband was so jealous that he got angry when I wanted to go so I didn't. I regret that I didn't go anyway.

I would have loved to have seen Dan Fogelberg in concert. Loved the man, loved his music. I also think it would have been wonderful to watch Mozart perform. He was the rock star of his era.

    Oh there are too many.

But the hardest I'd kick the asses of Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley for dying/disappearing off the face of the Earth while I was still in primary school. Never even gave me a chance.

I have never seen any of the Beatles in concert.
But I did have tickets to see Sir Paul in Tokyo back in 1980. He was busted with pot at the airport and the concert was cancelled. Got my money back for the two tickets but wish now I had kept them...

Freddie Mercury! I still regret that I didn't get tickets for Queens last concert in HOlland.

I also would like to have seen The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Elvis and Judy Garland.

Ah well, I 'll have to wait for that big jam session in the afterlife.
Some people just need a high five.... in the face.... with a chair...
