    OMG!
That reminds me of that lady they did a TV show about who was declared dead 2 or 3 times, and SHE was put in the morgue. I think she was awake in there too and could not move.

Hey, a while back you started a thread on Old Time Radio.

Do you remember an episode of a program about a guy who was subject to catatonia and had a "spell." Only his jacket (with a note in it that explained his condition) was stolen by a crook and sold to a pawnbroker? And he had a bracelet, too, that a couple of kids took and tried to melt down? And he found himself on the autopsy table unable to move?

Damn, that was one of the most exciting radio shows ever. Have you ever heard of it? I've no idea what the name of it was.

That's my kind of book: big pictures and little words!

Have you read Paul Fussell's Wartime?

    That's another good one.

Do you know if that's one of the better-known episodes of Suspense? It sure stuck around in my mind, anyway. @_@

I thought of it again as soon as I saw your original post.

That story gave me the creeps. He's lucky they didn't start with the Y incision.

Stephen King also wrote a short story about the same subject. The man in the story was bitten by a snake on a golf course and everyone thought he'd had a heart attack and died. In the morgue the female doing the autopsy was moving his wang around looking at a scar or something, and him getting an erection was the only thing that saved him. The venom had rendered him unable to move or talk.

Damned if I recall the name of the story....I'll add it when I find it.

"The Hitchhiker" with Orson welles or "Sorry wrong number" are two excellent stories.

I don't think it stands out as one of the better episodes but it should have been...its kind of creepy! but I have only heard a couple really bad episodes of Suspense.

"The doctor Prescribed Death" with Bela Lugosi is also a good one.

Or "To Little to live on" with Ozzy and Harriet...that is VERY well written.

Well you get the Idea I have listened to tons of them!!!
