Would you spill the beans on some celebrity?

Lets say you are working the night shift at the local hospital making a whopping $8.00 and hour. You have a family to support. One night while you are putting away someone's medical records and saw one of some well known celebrity. In the report you find out that he/she has HIV/ cancer or whatever. You know that the tabolids would give top money to know this bit of juicy information. Would you tell them?

You and your buddies are are at local bar. In comes a celebrity totally drunk, making an ass out of themselves. Would you contact the local media and tell them what you saw?

Myself, I would think the cons would weigh a lot more than pros in being a "celebrity tattle tale" even if money is involved.

Would you spill the beans on someone famous if the price is right?

Hell yes...if the price was right why not. We have a right to know about the celebritys.

But for me it would I would do it primarly for the money!

Besides most celebritys become more famous when they have dirt or skeletons in the closet...look at worthless Paris Hilton, she gets to go on Larry Kind after Jail.

I still can't believe it though, We have young kids getting killed in Iraq and people care more about that cunt Paris and how terrible it must be in jail for her!

    Our society is screwed up!!!!!!!!!!!

In world war II we as a country got involved in the war and lived and Breathed it.

I'd draw the line at spilling the beans on the medical records. That might cost me a job that means more to me than the payoff and would ruin my professional reputation (such as it was).

If a celebrity is out in public and making an ass out of his or herself, and somebody paid me to describe what I witnessed, sure, I'd take the money. I'm not sure I'd go so far as calling the media myself, but maybe if my drinking buddies did, I'd chime in.

Maybe that seems like a weird line to draw. I just, personally, would find the first scenario as violating what little confidentiality people of all sorts are afforded in this day and age.

    Cheers,
    Amy

I know someone who spilled the beans on an English Athlete who was married to a swimmer called Sharon Davies. He was spotted in a nightclub in the town where I live and one of the bouncers, a friend of my partner, sold the story to the paper for £10,000 and he was also caught on CCTV. Not longer after that they ended up getting divorced.

I think if you found out someone had an illness or disease then you shouldn't sell that on. People deserve medical privacy, and I think it would be wrong to profit by breaking that. However if a celeb was in a bar making an arse of themselves I'd be more tempted to sell that on, depends what they were up to though.

:gasp: You said Cunt.....oops so did I... Oh well.

Would I spill the beans? I guess it would all depend on who. Paris, Lindsay, and Pamela Anderson I would definatly say hell yes, I despise them. But as for anyone else who is trying to keep on the low down to protect themselves and family... no way. I'm not a full blown cold heartless bitch.

I would not if it was medical stuff not known (disease, etc) , the dead (even the famous) should have some privacy.

    No.

When I shave in the morning, I have to be able to respect the guy holding the razor. And selling someone out like that is not going to help, regardless of the amount of dough involved.

In my book, finking on someone makes you a stool pigeon, even if you try to con yourself into thinking that you're a superior "high-priced" stool pigeon.

Nope, in fact I once turned a guy into someone's agent cause he was stalking a certain actor.
I hope to keep everyone's confidences private(unless there is a stalky thing going on)

My sister used to work in housekeeping for one of our local hotels. One day as she was cleaning up a room, she discovered several copies of gay porn magazines, several bottles of poppers, cockrings, dildos and other sex toys plus a large number of empty beer bottles that the guest left behind. Who was this guest? A very well known Christian pop singer who has sold records in the thousands and whose music gets played on many religious radio stations.

This happened about 10 years ago and even though she has since left her job at the hotel, she still will not tell me or anyone else for that matter, the name of this singer. Just saying what this person did for a living. Reason for the "no name" is because she would find herself "totally unemployed" if she would reveal his/her name.
As in wont be able to find a job anywhere, not even McDonalds. Once employers lose trust in you, you can't expect to keep or even find a job.

With that being said, NO !!! Yeah you may get your 15 minutes of fame, but what happens next?

I would only sell them out if they were being an arrogant ass and being rude to people.

Somehow, your mention of McDonalds and Hotel Room Doings puts me in mind of this story:

I agree that "What happens in hotels stays in hotels," but only up to a point.

    Yuck.

If they were in a bar acting a fool I might call the tabloids.....in a hospital...no way, just think it's wrong to splash illness out there when someone is trying to heal, or die

    Depends.

Mainly on whether or not said celebrity is an asshole. And the dirt in question.

If it was medical? No. Everyone deserves their medical privacy....unless said celebrity has given me something nasty. Then, they're fair game, as far as I'm concerned.

If it was behavioral, as in, making an ass of themselves in public, or screwing ME over? Oh, you bet your ass I would. Paris, Lindsay, and the like being bitches in public, acting like the worthless assholes they are? Hell yes I would.

No not in either of those situations.

In the first situation, I'd feel sorry for the person-even if it was someone who's work I thought was lameass-if they were terminally ill and wouldn't tell anyone except maybe my husband. He wouldn't pass it on.

In the second situation I wouldn't notify anyone either. I'd laugh it off as the person being a dumbass and then watch it at home on the news again cuz someone would definitely tell. They always do, LOL.

If the person died the next day, all bets are off.

OMG, what a story and what a website... Death, I understand the fascination with... Shit, I do not!

I wouldn't rat out someone's medical stuff, but say it was a sexual indiscretion of someone like Fred Phelps or one of those televangelists that are complete hypocrites, I would absolutely find a way to expose their hypocrisy....

As far as drugs, etc., I think I would publicize that too, if only to get the person help! Say, I saw Lindsay or Britney tooting in public, or little Dakota Fanning... I'd do it...

Hope I never find myself in that position...
