Yeah I heard about that. It shouldn't be too difficult for someone to access those pics if they wanted to see them anyway if they read this whole thread, right??

I remember that, too. It didn't do any good at all, obviously-I remember reading somewhere that by the time the ambulance reached the Days Inn, She Who Shall Not Be Named's veins in her arm were empty and flat, so the EMT's had to try to start an IV in her neck. The morgue photos are so sad-so little externally visible damage, yet she died-just like Brandon Lee. Yolanda had been an RN, guess she knew exactly where to shoot.

As far as the lesbian thing...I'm quite sure SWSNBN could have done better than Yolanda. Yolanda was only 34 (3 years older than I am now) at the time of the murder, but she looked beat as hell and MANY years older than that. I just found out her age, and I was shocked. I'd have put her at least 15 years older than that. If the rumor that SWSNBN liked the young girls was true, Yolanda wouldn't fit. I always thought SWSNBN met Yolanda at the Days Inn because that's where Yolanda was living/staying temporarily, not because of any sort of tryst. I don't know if I read that somewhere or if it's just my impression.

I understand that; however, just because someone's on a "death" forum, they still should have a choice in what they want to look at. Some people can handle it all - up to and including gore. Some people can't handle certain death scenes (like decapitation, or autopsy photos, or what-have-you). I can handle it all, but I realize others might not be able to; this is cool with me. I think posting LINKS rather than an outright pic for the world to see is a fair compromise.

Maybe we can a have a whole new section here for all gore pics without links - with a warning for all that dare to enter that area. Just an idea...

I guess I'm just one those who isn't afraid to look at stuff like that!

the blood transfusions that they did give her (before they found out she was a JW), it didn't do any good because while they were pumping in the blood, it was seeping out in her chest cavity.
Oh gawd, this hurts to talk about...such a useless death.

Yeah it was shocking. She was really beautiful and had a great voice. She could have gone far in America. The autopsy pics for me were sad - they weren't gory it was sad because she looked like she was asleep apart from a hole in her back. Such a horrible way to go.

I absolutely loved her. I was 13 when she died. I had just gotten home from school when my mom told me she had died, that she had been shot. Couldn't believe it. You kind of have to wonder just how far she would've gone in life if it never would've happened....

    She would've been huge.

when my family lived in San Antonio we saw her at some outdoor festival..my baby sister was young and she was dancing just the cutest little girl you ever saw and Selena stopped her set and told all the children to come forward and made a little spot for them were they were dancing and she was so close..she would wave at them and touch their faces ...she was beyond amazing,I remeber how nice the crowd was too.....and I turned to my Dad and said what a great performer...she put so much into it!! So much passion.....It breaks my heart what happened...in my mind I always see that beautiful girl singing to all those children..and laughing and touching them.....Ill never forget my fortune I got to see her live .....and she was so amazing to the children!!!! She looks so beautiful in her coffin like she was sleeping...poor thing. Bless her heart.

I never got to see her, i lived in San Antonio about 2 years before she died. I remember babysitting one time for my older siblings so that they could go to this award show and she was going to be there, performing.

Wish I had seen her live....im sure she did put on a great show!

If you didn't see Scott just posted the 911 call from that day.

I never realized how bad her internal injuries were. What a horrible tradegy that her main artery was severed. Poor thing never had a chance. She lost almost all her blood before the EMT's even arrived. Blood transfusion or not she probably would have died.

I think the thing that bother's me the most is that she died because she couldn't be mean................. if she would've just let someone else deal with Yolanda she would still be here........ Yolanda was unbalanced.....and how many people keep communicating with people like that?....we don't we avoid them or cut them out totally

she was too nice and couldn't be mean to save herself

I just watched the 911 call footage that Scott posted.... and it was bizarre. You get to hear most of the call, then suddenly it breaks into what seems to be a long music/tribute video to DTSWNRWS. Then right at the end, you get some chick announcing her death.

I remember coming home from work and my dad telling me...someone killed this lady singer...It wasn't until later that I found out it was DTSWNRWS on the news.

I liked some of her music and thought it was sad that she died so young...

I had never heard of her until I caught the standoff between Yolanda and the cops, and then I saw her on the cover of People and the autopsy pics in the Globe. She was just so beautiful and it's a tragedy what happened to her.

Man - sad all the way around. I live in Houston and I think people kept their car headlights on for about a month in her memory. I felt really sorry for Chris. I would love to see pics of his new "wife & kiddo". It would kinda suck though to be the "new" woman in his life. Wondering if he will ever love you as much or if he compares you to her... You know what I mean.... Some bug shoe's to fill....

The 911 call is a bit eerie. It's so weird to think it was that long ago already, it really feels like 90's were just yesterday, but the way footage looks from then has this really old feel and look to it.
