You mean he actually has a job now?! Since he don't play in a band anymore I was wondering why he was still in the spotlight

Ask Dave Navarro about Jennifer Syme. She was his personal assistant at one time.... :

They had him on some new show called Yo! on E the other day. I am not sure if it was part of his show. It was on early like 8 am.

He talks about her in his book "don't try this at home". Apparently, she helped him get clean a few times...

Was in Janes Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Also was married to Carmen Electra and had a show on MTV showing the lead up to their wedding.

Dave was super kind. He was really in to this stuff, and thankfully he didn't show the trailer to DDI which has the bit with Jennifer Syme on it. He was just nice, really attentive, and really interested in what we do. Honorary Death Hag. He owns a couple of Gacy paintings, a Henry Lee Lucas and now a brick from the Tate fireplace. I thought he was going to explode when I presented it to him.

Let's go easy on Scott. I don't think he has any control over what get's posted on Navarro's site, and yesterday was Halloween, so he was probably busy!

    Yes, thank you, Cataroo!

I thought you and Mike were great, Scott, and you managed to get a lot of stories into your segment. Dave seems cool and pretty excited about the subject, and really, really excited about the fireplace brick from Cielo! Great job!

    Cheers,

I just finally got to watch this (since the sound has gone out on my computer at work). It was cool to see how genuinely thrilled Dave Navarro was to get a piece of Sharon Tate's fireplace, not to mention the fact that he says that he actually collects stuff like that.

Yup ... Dave Navarro is a death hag, too!!!

From what I remember, when he was on MTV cribs he had a coffin in I think it was his bedroom as well. So, yeah, I do believe he'd fall in that category. He's a cool dude so we're in pretty good famous company!

    Love Dave!!

I am a huge Dave Navarro fan, and hit his website a lot (www.6767.com)
and yes, he is kinda a deathhag......and also a very talented guitar player.....

I used to post a lot on his forum, and let my David Cassidy flag fly, and Dave used to do a radio show broadcast from his house, and one night he hummed "I Think I Love You" (of course, just for me!!!!) He has a very dry sense of humor.....

Good show Scott and Filmmaker. And thanks Cataroo for the clip.

You know, if the dearly departed tour takes 3 hours and normal run-time for a prime time doco is 45 minutes (excluding ads) then do you think that a 'special' Dearly Departed tour could be filmed?

I was thinking that since Dave Navarro is so into it then Scott could film a distilled hour to an hour and a half of Scott and Dave doing the Dearly Departed tour. I am thinking of Scott introducing Dave into his world with Dave adding a little colour along the way.

Could be a sellable commodity. Just a thought.
