I finished watching Dr. No. I just wish I saw it first before I saw six other Bond movies.
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Didn't know that was a thing...

I'm watching "You are what you eat" on the BBC. I love this show. That woman is a total bitch. I've never seen a dietitian so vicious.

I just watched the first two seasons of Jericho, it was great. It was sort of take-off on Lost only it was nuclear war and town cut off from it all. But it's been cancelled. I enjoyed it while it lasted.

I'm trying to get the Holly Hunter TV show, but Netflix must have ran out, it's shipping stuff beneath it on my queue. I'm also looking forward to Dexter Season 2, I hope they ordered enough, I hate waiting.

^^^ Can you explain to me what that's all about?? I don't follow football. Why would he retire, just to want to come right back. He can't be out of money?? And isn't he on the old side to be playing anyway??

Okay, for the first time EVER...Dirty Dancing. I didn't see it when it came out and for some reason, I never saw on video, either. Know what else I've never seen? Pretty Woman.

Pretty Woman is great! In a stupid and predictible way. It has every hooker film stereotype (slutty wardrobe, dirty talk, excuse, heart of gold at work, etc.), but it works, and it has some Mommie Dearest-style unforgettable lines.

My favorite line is when she's already quoted prices for her "services" to Gere and Gere orders some champagne and strawberries, and she delivers this one: "I really appreciate this whole seduction thing you got going here, but let me give you a tip, I'm a sure thing."

Or when her street hooker/roommate friend meets her later in the movie to pick up rent money and Julia (Vivian) been made over, her friend comments to her, "Hey, Viv, babe, you clean up real nice!"

I work those lines into my daily life all the time.

Worth a rental. And there's a scene where Gere gives her money to go out and buy a nice outfit, but as she's dressed as a hooker, the snotty sales women on Rodeo Drive won't wait on her. She's walking around saying, "hey I got money to spend." I was in Needless Markup--in a suit no less--a few months ago and no one will wait on me, I'm like "who am I, Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman? I got money to spend." That didn't get me waited on either, so I spent it elsewhere! They bitch about a recession, but I was there with money to spend and they blew me off, so it's their loss.

I think this movie may have had too much of an impact on me, now reading back this post!??!?!?

OMG. I saw Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer last night

*GAG* Don't waste the 90 mins of your life to see it.

They watered it down to get the rating that they did and as a result it is just AWFUL. I hate when they do that to make movies kid friendly.

Extremely cheesy violent gory and inventive dark comedy. Some of the murder scenes are astounding. Good fun!
