    Currently Watching

Since we have a currently listening 2 thread, I thought I'd start one about what we are watching while cruising the forum. I'll start:

    Trainspotting.

Great flick. I saw it in the theater when it first came out.

When a friend told me last night that he had a bootleg of "Hellboy 2," I hit him up to borrow it. The bootlegger even did a cover for the case that looked pretty professional. But when the movie began, I nearly fell off the couch laughing: very apparent that this "bootleg copy" was merely someone taking a recorder into a THEATER and taping it from their seat! Bad video and worse audio, and the audience's reactions seemed maginified, since they were closer to the recording source! Can't wait to rag on him about it when I take it back tomorrow, LOL!

Other than that minor detail, the movie was very good!

The similarities were hilarious! Seriously! It was also missing a bit at the beginning, and cut off the second the movie was over -- I guess staying to tape the closing credits may have proven risky for Mr. Bootlegger, HAAAAAA

LOL! Kindred spirit ... I do that all the time! I can go days without TV and not miss it; sometimes I turn it on simply for background noise (often the TV Guide Channel or Weather Channel) .. then I don't even look at it.

Haaaaaaaa! I was sure I was the only one. During times of incredible stress in my life, the Weather Channel, goes on and stays on. Nobody gets it.

...And God said let there be the NFL. And it was good. And the Lord did smile. And the birds did sing. And mankind did spend ludicrous amounts of money on new football jerseys, NFL Sunday Ticket, wings at Hooters and beer.... Amen. GO BRONCOS!
