This is an interesting article about an uninhabited town in CT. It's been a ghost town since 1998 and is now up for auction. Looks lovely.

Here's an uplifting story about an abandoned Walmart in McAllen, Texas. It's been transformed into the country's largest single-floor library!

If just absolutely spoil Casper! If I could join you all, I'm sure we'd have a blast. Going out to explore the New England historical FAD haunts. Pun fully intended.
Would I have to fill out an application to be your neighbor. My brood would equal four: 3 of the human variety and one furbaby.
Would we qualify?
For years, bizarre domed buildings on the southern tip of Marco Island in Cape Romano, Florida have been a mystery. Who built them? What were they used for? Today, the sea is slowly claiming the domes, but the mystery remainsâ?¦ take a look. http://www.wimp.com/domedhouses/

Oh ya, absolutely! I live in Toronto, and we have a subway station called Bay Street. Under that station, is another station, called Lower Bay. It was built in the 60's to streamline the system and didn't work. They only use it now to film movies, training etc. We have a program here called Open Doors, and a few years ago it was open to the public, really creeped me out. Also, water towers give me the creeps, especially old ones that look beat up.

This is pretty interesting. The person filming had permission from the owner to go through the house. Too bad it's going to be torn down, but it is in rough shape. I guess the house had been left untouched for like 50 years until someone broke in and trashed it.

A mysterious light seen in the window of abandoned Charity Hospital in New Orleans has been baffling some employees across the street in Tulane Medical Center.
NEW ORLEANS, La. —
Photos of a mysterious light spotted inside the window of a dark, abandoned New Orleans hospital have gone viral on Facebook after catching the attention of employees at Tulane Medical Center across the street.
The photographs show a single glowing window among a sea of other darkened, broken windows at Charity Hospital, formerly part of Louisiana University Health Services. The hospital went defunct in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina hit the state. http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local...ed-new-/nps7y/

Surprisingly, I can't find any pics of it online. I'll have to go by this week and get a pic.

I discovered his YouTube site last night. All these homes in Ontario, mostly in the Toronto area, and most are to be demolished. This one in particular! I found out this home is on the Bridle Path one of he most expensive areas in the city. https://talkingwallsphoto.com/abando...-bomb-shelter/
