Last Pictures of Celebrities While Still Alive

Instead of pictures of celebs that are dead, does anyone know of photos of celebs that are soon-to-be dead? There is a pic out there showing Lee Remick shortly before she died and she was not recognizable. Also, the appearance of Susan Hayward at the Oscars shortly before she died was also interesting. Then there are those who show celebs getting on planes right before they crash, etc. Charlie Rock looked worn-out and sad right before he died - not at all like the jovial guy from the 80's and 90's.

Anyway, I always find these pics interesting. Let's see what's out there, shall we?

I would imagine that there are quite a few last photos out there.

I do know that there is a pic taken of Patsy Cline as she was walking off the stage only a day or two before that plane crash and come to think of it I think there were several photos taken of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper taken the night they were all killed in their plane crash.

Hours before he died, Keith Moon was having dinner with Paul & Linda McCartney. A pic was made of that and Keith looked bad ( and Paul looked bored ). And don't forget Elvis !! Some guy took a pic of the king as he was arriving at Graceland for the last time. Plus that famous/infamous photo of John Lennon signing an autograph for Mark David Chapman, houses before he would shoot Lennon to death.

I am sure there were many others and chances are they are available someplace online.

I saw one of Dean Martin days before he died. Hardley recognizable. Never seen that shot again.

    4 days before death

A young woman, named Karyn Kupcinet, was murdered and her demise has gone unsolved. Here is a picture of her 4 days before she was strangled. There is a KK thread already started, possibly on pg.2 or 3.

Here is a last one of Marilyn Monroe. She was dead 2 days later. I ask of others not to post autopsy photos.

I haven't seen ANY of the above....do you have them? If you do, oh please post them. That pic of Marilyn's last (that Jigsaw posted, thanks by the way) was beautiful, IMO.
This is a great idea for a thread, thanks so much. I'm looking forward to more posts.

i have often wondered after so many years why more celebrity morgue pics have never surfaced for many of the celebrities like buddy holly ,patsy cline 'etc. you know there were pics taken on scene . its strange that they have never leaked out through the years.

Here's what is said to be the last known picture taken of Kurt Cobain, a few days before his death. He's almost unrecognizable, wearing the goofy hat he wore to avoid being recognized while out in public. The man on the right is Frances Bean's nanny, Cali. He's been implicated by some in Kurt's death.

When asked how he obtained the photos that went into Hollywood Babylon I and II, Kenneth Anger said there was always a cop you'd give money to and you'd get the pictures. He said this after he got Sharon Tate's death photos 25 years or so after her death.

Here's a photo of Tammy Faye (Bakker) Messner on what I believe was a day or two before she died from cancer. Eventhough she was someone that I think everyone at some point or another made fun of...you gotta admit she had an undenyable faith in God. I enjoyed watching her sing part of Ice Ice Baby on the Surreal Life and laughing everytime! RIP Tammy Faye.

In the end of her life, she didn't want her doctors to tell her how long they thought she had to live because she didn't want it to "affect her faith". She was just so loving, had a huge following in gay circles (because she embraced the person and not the sexuality) and I just think about her and Ron Jeremy in the same house! The Porn star and the Preacher's wife...good times.

    Last picture of Otis Redding

Mitch Ryder, Don Webster, Otis Redding

The final two performances are “Try A Little Tenderness” and “Respect” taped at a local Cleveland television show less than 24 hours before Otis’s death. On a program called "Upbeat" with swinging host, Don Webster who was also the weather man on WEWS Chanel 5 in Cleveland. The chartered plane he was on crashed into Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin on December 10, 1967.

One of the last public photos of Lucille Ball, taken at the 1989 Academy Awards. The beloved comedienne would die a month later.

That picture is so, so sad.

I thought I read somewhere she weiged like 60 lbs or something when she died? She was always tiny, but wow.

Dignified to the end, the final photograph of a true, elusive legend. The great Greta Garbo captured on her final journey to the New York hospital where she would die days later...

In the very end, Tammy Faye had weighed 65 pounds....but she said she looked forward to the day she could eat a cheeseburger and french fries with lots of ketchup. Hope she's getting that and some manna in heaven!

The picture of Lucy is real. I remember her on that Oscar telecast w. Bob Hope (UGH - I could never stand him, even before all the nasty stuff came out about him!)...She really looked great, considering she was 77...that dress had a slit up past the knee & she showed a lot of leg. Those were the days before everybody and their sister or brother in Hollywood nipped and tucked, siliconed and botoxed beyond recognition. What may make the picture look photoshopped is you need to remember this was the '80's and women's fashion called for shoulder pads the size of a linebackers.

And, yes, I did NOT need to see that topless photo.

I saw that photo for the first time several years after her death. I guess those were the starving days in NYC. I know she modeled for Hattie-Carnegie but I had no idea she did this kind of photography. I still love Lucy, but with the boobs covered up!

Anna Loginova, Russia’s celebrity bodyguard, was killed when she tried to stop her Porsche from being carjacked. Anna, 29, had clung on the door handle of her Porsche and was dragged on the road at high speed as the thief raced away. She suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene.

Anna was the manager of an agency that provided female bodyguards to give secretive protection to Moscow’s wealthy celebrities, their wives and mistresses. Some of her body guards were trained by ex-KGB staff.
