Conspiracy. It's pretty damn obvious why that BOBBY movie is being released this year...and NOT because of the anniversary...

I can't even stand to read the article. (M)Ann Coulter keeps staring at me. I had to run away to save myself.

On the 50th anniversary of JFK's death, Sirhan has been moved to Corcoran State Prison in San Diego.

Speaking of the anniversary, yesterday at school, no one could figure out why our flag was at half mast. These were ADULTS in COLLEGE. Come on people.

I could get lost for hours... days even... in this stuff (I won't, but I could.)

Also (almost relevant, too...) -- I posted this on my Facebook yesterday, and that song has not stopped playing in my head since then... I've tried everything, even "Henry the VIII" -- nada. So yeah, if I gotta hear it, I'm gonna see if I can make you hear it, too... To be fair, though, there are a lot of worse songs to have in one's head. This one I've kind of enjoyed having around.

I was only three years old when this song was recorded, and it's as relevant now as it was then. "He freed a lot of people but it seems the good, they die young..." Doesn't it though?

I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul! (Invictus)
    (And Timothy McVeigh's last words...)

I realize that post (see above) was more suited for the Jack Kennedy thread. I mean I posted it on FB because it was the 50th anniversary of his death and all.

But to be fair, the last verse is about Bobby Kennedy.

Also: It's just a good song.
(And I should know, it's been playing in my head for going on 27 hours now...)

I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul! (Invictus)
    (And Timothy McVeigh's last words...)

Slap a few fentanyl patches on him and call it a day.
