I knew one of the victims who died when the Ocean Ranger oil rig sank off the east coast of Canada in 1982. He was an engineer and a few years older than I was. RIP

I know a few others who barely got out alive - some had actually called their families and said goodbye.

I knew a few of the Employees at the Federal Credit Union that was in the Murrah Federal Building. Not close friends, but folks I would talk to whenever I went there. I visit the Memorial whoever we are Downtown walking about.
