There just aren't enough headlines like that.

I will never be able to look at a marmot in the face again.
Today you could be standing next to someone who is trying their best not to fall apart. So whatever you do today, do it with kindness.

The face is OK - just don't eat the kidneys anymore.
    Raw.

How often do you get that urge?
You know, in some cultures; delicacies like wharf rat are just the stuff of dreams, so for us; marmot simply has to do.
Not everybody lives in Georgia, not everybody can just go outside and pick wharf rats off trees.

But now you have me thinking:
I wonder if wharf rats are fundamentally different from say, dumpster rats?
Sort of like the difference between rodeo clowns and circus clowns.

We called them wharf rats before there were dumpsters around here. In some areas they get as big as cats and people use shotguns to kill them.

Sounds like y'all would be better off with a few marmots.
Besides - I hear that eating their kidneys raw has some health benefits.
