    This is horribly sad.

I kind of expected him to pull through. But, nope.

Was never a fan of 90210, but enjoyed his work on Riverdale.

This is so sad, he was so young. I loved him in 90210 and I'm inspired to watch Riverdale as people are speaking so highly of his performance in it. RIP Dylan/Luke, gone to soon.......

I am guessing, due to him being a big time smoker and high blood pressure maybe...I loved him on Riverdale, my cousin was all ga ga over him on 90210

I was thinking along the same lines. He looked much older than 52. My sister died at the age of 59 from untreated high blood pressure. It's a killer.

I see last night The Simpsons and Family Guy both did
a nice tribute to him at the end of their shows.

I was really sad to hear this, he's been around since I was a teenager and his show was on. All the girls in high school loved him. However, I cannot remember a single thing that I've seen him in. I never watched 90210 or Riverdale. I don't remember him in any films. I've just never seen the man act. How is that even possible, him being so relevant to the generation in which I grew up, that I've never seen him in anything?

Seems his death was due to a blood clot that went to the brain, saw this on a TMZ report, or something on yahoo
Luke Perry‘s official cause of death confirms the actor died of a stroke, or, more accurately, an “ischemic cerebrovascular accident.” There were no underlying causes listed as contributing to his death, according to the death certificate.
An ischemic stroke is the most common type, and occurs when a blood clot blocks a blood vessel, preventing blood and oxygen from getting to a part of the brain.
