It's been reported on TMZ that Basketball player Rasual Butler and his wife Leah who was a singer that appeared on American Idol have both died after he lost control, hit a parking meter then smashed into a wall causing the car to flip.

Damn, two lives snuffed out. I wonder if a self-driving car could have saved their lives, but even those could malfunction and crash, such as forums do now and again.

A compact car with an older, softer driver and passengers maybe.

Turns out he was off his head when he crashed.
According to TMZ, he had alcohol, weed and pills in his system when they did the autopsy.
