    Rose Marie RIP

Just reported. She lived a long one. Can't complain about that.

Interesting tidbit......Hired by Bugsy Segal to work in Vegas. I would love to visit 1940's to early 60's Vegas.

I loved her as Sally on The Dick Van Dyke Show, and she never won an Emmy for that ! A great comedian. RIP.

She lived a long life! May she RIP. ETA: Never trust Wiki! Apparently she only had a daughter.

I follow her on Twitter. So she just died abruptly, just like Leonard Nimoy.

I'm guilty of not knowing she was still with us. Nice clip you found Kelt. Wow, what a career. RIP.

Indeed! That's why I wish we fans could have a "heads-up" when one of our very old celebrities gets ill. Of course he or she might want privacy, so we get to find out they are gone abruptly, tramatically with no warning- just like Leonard. I was not a fan of Rose Marie, but I knew of her and she was loved. I Tweeted at William Shatner to please let us know how he is and not just kick off like Nimoy did.

Rose Marie made at least two appearances on The Monkees (below); the second link has Rose Marie with Lon Chaney Jr and the guy who played "Uncle Leo" from Seinfeld !

on Selma Diamond( minus cigarette smoke) a writer

I thought Sally was gonna live forever. Ah well. She was funny as hell back in the day and no plastic surgery as far as I know.
