    These kinds of incidents were not exactly common in the 1950s, but that neighbor kid sure took it in his stride, didn't he? His Dad's friend who'd done him a favor by bringing him to the game, killed right in front of his face, and he was annoyed at the detective's questions? And the idiot kid who was randomly firing the gun...
    RIP Barney, at least you had Holy Communion before your unexpected (to say the least!) passing, and it was over quicker than a painful final heart attack would have been.
