In the same class as Olivier and Guinness in my book. So many great roles over course of his career but favorite was as Stephen Ward in Scandal.

One of the best, I loved him in Scandal and The Naked Civil Servant, he was brilliant in that. RIP.

I'll be honest I'm a little surprised how emotional I got over this. Part of it is I love him as the "lonely driver" in the Paul McCartney Take It Away video and that whole video makes me happysad anyway, and I loved him in 1984 and seen him in a few other things that I didn't realize he was in. He was truly great. RIP

Here's the video. It makes me cry even more now. I love Ringo being there, the landlady, the show, especially their after party, Paul looks especially handsome, especially when he sees Linda talking to Mr. Hurt, but there is also something sad about it, part is I always get sad when I see Paul and Linda together, but it makes me wish I was a kid again which I was when this song came out and reminds me of when life was happy. Coming Up is from the same era and that one just cracks me up 100%.

At first watching the video, I thought there must be another actor with the same name. I finally recognized him. Amazingly he could look so different in each role.

on.another.note. my space key randomly quit working there. Weird. I went to another site and it worked, then randomly started working here again after a few more words.
