I like the 'Wonder Twin" reference you use. Have you two ever bumped fist and say "Wonder Twin power, activate?"

Our Tax Return was pretty decent this time. We bought a new fridge. Nothing fancy. Freezer on top and an Ice Maker. But, it's the first new fridge we have ever owned. They should be here in an hour or two and Debra is crawling the walls in excitement. Geez, you'd think it was a new power tool or something.

I edited my novel. Tried to find a professional-looking star font for my brand, but that all looked like a 5 year old designed them, so I'm sticking with what I have.

Why yes...yes we have. We refer to each other as "my Wonder Twin" IRL too. We are very similar in size and both wear similarly shaped glasses, but she has a good four or five inches on me in height. And she's fair-skinned with reddish hair where I'm dark-skinned with black hair (when it's not colored). I keep telling her it's a shame she's straight because she would be perfect for me. We have such similar tastes in almost everything.

They do sell the Rings, but they are a bit pricey. I totally forgot about the time change this morning. I'm glad Clocks are easier to move one hour forward.

Just finished posting my daily writing report on Absolute Write Water Cooler. Going to work on my plotting now--or attempt it. I like to write by the seat of my pants, but I found a plot building format that looks neat.

Watching MASH, smoking my after dinner cig, thinking about someone special, wondering if my new microdermabrasion scrub is gonna hurt.

Also still crossing my fingers that I will get one of those two jobs I interviewed for. Even though for one of them I have to get a shot and it's lower paying. (Fast food, Hep A shots are required in my state)

On lunch break at work. Not hungry. Wonder Twin convinced me to eat a protein bar and get a meal when I get off work in 2 hours. She has to watch me some days because I lose all appetite and don't want to eat. She's threatened to spoon feed me at times.

Thanks. It was a rough one. Broken sleep last night, then work today. I was able to start my day with cuddles from Wonder Twin which always helps. I'm off till Monday and Bestie is going to color my hair tomorrow. Apparently I'm going grey already.

Midnight baker has struck again. Dinner rolls baked and ready for tomorrow's potluck after church. This week's theme is casseroles and salad, so I said I'd bring dinner rolls. Which I made from scratch, along with the pizza we had for dinner. Whenever Bestie does my hair, especially when she colors it, I try to feed her. Tonight was sausage and mushroom pizza.

Trying not to fly off the handle and end up in the Police Blotter section here. Found out some horrible news last night. Miss E lied to me. She said she and a boy her own age had had sex, and we spent a good week or so worrying if she was pregnant. She came clean to her dad last night and said that an adult friend of his sister's (Miss E's aunt) had gotten her away from her aunt and gotten her to undress down to her undies. He took pictures then threatened her that he would post them on the Internet if she told anyone what they were doing. And then he raped her.

I want him dead. But first cut off his penis in very small slices. I'm struggling to contain myself. Momma Bear is engaged. I won't do anyone any good if I'm in prison for life. Hubs took Miss E last night to the police station to file a report. Had she told me when it happened I could have taken her to the hospital and had her examined to get DNA evidence and the morning after pill. Hubs said the police better find this fucker before he does. If you don't think fucking with MOMMA Bear is a good idea, think about PAPA Bear.

He should. Wonder Twin had to hold me back because I was ready to kill him. Or at least cut off his penis in very tiny slices. Let's just pray the cops find him before Miss E's daddy and ALL her brothers do. In addition to Schmoo, she's got five or six "informally adopted" brothers and they are ALL furious.

Right now, I'm making dinner (hamburgers) and watching MasterChef, Jr. When this went down late Monday night, my appetite disappeared. If it hadn't been for Wonder Twin's encouraging me, I probably would not have eaten a morsel all week. When stress hits like this, my appetite takes a hit. I just don't want to eat anything at all. We had doughnuts at work today, and I brought home two for me and two for Miss E. Catch is I have to eat a meal to get them. *sigh* Okay.

I've been dealing with a BAD Intercostal Sprain all week. I did it on Monday, totally my fault because I lifted something quite heavy when I was pissed off. I know how to pick stuff up correctly, worked to many years at the SWA Air Freight facility. Never lift angry.

OMG Ria, I am so sorry that happened to her, I don't get why some men feel the need to do those things to a child, granted she is 15 but still achild, no no no, kill him Ria, or hope someone does, I think rapist, should be shot on sight.

She's 16. Just turned 16 a few weeks ago. She's devastated. She wanted to wait until she was married.

It's triggering a LOT of stuff in me. I spent a week barely eating, with Wonder Twin threatening to hook me up to a nutrition IV or start trying to force Boost shakes down my throat. When I get super stressed my appetite disappears. I already have a form of anorexia and struggle on a daily basis but when stress hits....it is SO much worse.

Right now the police are treating it as a rape case. But they will more than likely be adding child porn charges for the pictures he took of her in her undies, distribution of child porn for texting them out, and sex trafficking for trying to sell her for sex to someone. And those are just the charges pertaining to Miss E. I told her that unfortunately these effers don't have just one girl. They have several. At least. When he's arrested, others may be brave and come forward.

She had her quinceañera in September, I wasn't allowed to spend that kind of money due to the transitional housing program I'm in. Her actual birthday is in early March.

Thanks about the hair color. I considered mermaid but I keep my hair so short it would have been VERY difficult to pull off. I would have done mine pink, purple, blue, and real. Next time I color I'm considering going bold and coloring it a deep blue.
