Just finished a writing session and slapped my work on a private Blogger, because I can access it on my tablet if something happens to my desktop. I'm saving for a laptop. Don't know what I'm going to do now. I am not sleepy at all. I might watch The Waltons and boohoo.

    Giggling.

Bella the rabbit-tailed cat was tracking something under the sink tonight as we ate supper. We figured it was the mouse that's taken up residence. So I came back in here, ate my salad, went to put my dishes in the sink, and Sissy was standing at the front door, talking on the phone. So what? So I no more got back in here than she flew in with her face turned up and her eyes wild. I be like, Somebody's dead!

"'IT'S NOT A MOUSE! IT'S A POSSUM!" She shut my door so it wouldn't come in here while management chased it down. I am dying. She can't get ahold of management. Brittany says she's mad.

Relaxing. Groceries came, put those away. Did dishes. Stuff I ordered online came. Crocs is having a "not going out if business" sale and some styles were 2/$35. I got 2 pairs. I also got a pair of "pettipants." They're like a slip, but shorts. I feel better and less exposed in a dress if I'm wearing those instead of a slip.

My budget counselor is pretty laid back about spending because I only do it if I need something, and I shop sales, coupons, clearance. I needed the pettipants to wear under my dress for Miss E's quince. And I have several pairs of shoes that are needing to meet the trash can, and I got a good deal. The two pairs I got retailed at $90 for both pairs.

Right now I'm having a proud momma moment. Miss E got her uniforms for JROTC. I am officially a proud momma of an Air Force cadet.

Finished cleaning house, vaccuuming, and doing dishes. Got a load of laundry in. Yep. My Friday nights are THIS exciting, y'all. Usually my laundry slot here is Monday from 3pm till midnight, but I was with Schmoo in ICU from Sunday afternoon till Tuesday afternoon and missed my day. I asked to run "an emergency load" tonight so I could have clothes to wear this weekend, to church, and a work outfit for Monday.

Just finished the first two Marvel movies, Iron Man and Iron Man 2. We skipped Hulk (but I might watch on my own later.) Wonder Twin is going to catch me up on the movies before May come hell or high water. Lol! I've never seen any of them, so we have 16 movies to go....

Finished my food prep for my lunches, packed my lunch for tomorrow, made the patties for the sliders we'll have later, now I'm waiting on Bestie. She's coming over to color and cut my hair, and I promised her in exchange I'd feed her like I always do. When it's done I might post a pic in the Death Hag Pics thread, but lately I've been having trouble uploading. Not sure if it was because I was doing it from my phone or what. *shrugs shoulders* I'm posting it on FB, though, so if you're friends with me there you'll see it.

Excited about the publication of my Halloween op ed in the North Gwinnett Voice tomorrow. "Nobody Nowhere" is about my experiences in a haunted house in my hometown. For the now, I'm fixing to pour a fresh Diet Coke and continue reading The Girl in the Plain Brown Wrapper, a Travis McGee novel by John D. McDonald. This must be the 6th read.

Reheating leftover pizza from last night, wondering when the trick-or-treaters will start coming by IF they're going to come here, and wondering why my trackpad is suddenly acting wonky....might need to reboot....

Just sitting here going through channels, (disappointed in hulu”live” )not worth it IMO.),
munching on pork rinds (no carbs) I just sprinkled in some Hidden valley ranch powdered seasoning to give it exta zing...
We had no trick or treaters...Again! The ppl around here are heavily into fear mongering.
I feel there would be no fear mongering if there were no sycophants!

I bought a couple of books for Kindle, managed my song file, did devotions, and now I'm going back to reading.

Lounging around in bed being sick as a dog. Can't breathe, sore throat, headache, feel like crap. Started feeling like this Thursday night, worked yesterday because my work ethic is too damn strong, and now I'm spending the weekend in bed. I need to get over this, not only so I can go back to work Monday, but so I can go on the ladies' retreat with my church next weekend.

Waiting for dinner. I just got up. I didn't sleep for the majority of two days. So today I crashed. I'll read Dress Her in Indigo by John D. MacDonald on Kindle while I eat and then write.

Moved my keyboard and mouse to a lower table because my desk was causing big allergy or eczema bumps to break out on my wrist. I like it better this way anyway.

    Moderating. Very exciting.

We do mail-in or dropbox voting only in this part of the state, so I voted a few days ago. I'm not looking forward to being bombarded with election coverage on every channel when I get home though. Glad I've got free Amazon Prime Video jik everything else is preempted.

Reading excerpts from an FBI report stating that hate crimes increased by 17% in 2017; the third year in a row for such an increase.
I guess we could call that a recent trend.

The largest increases have involved religion-based crimes, primarily targeting people of the Jewish faith and their institutions, which increased 23% over the year before.

    That's yuge.

Was that last statement a typo, or an accent joke? The rise in assholleness, keeps in stride with the amount of unsocial media platforms. People have, and always will be, assholes. Myself, def included. The problem is, now, you can broadcast your every thought to the web. At one time, unless it made the Newspaper or Television News, you didn't hear about it.
