Yup....We can't feed our own people, children going hungry at night. Senior citizens having to chose between medicine or food. We have a president that thinks the IRS is not only his personal death squad, but has doubled the debt we all owe. But by all means, lets let the inept Homeland security decide which terrorists to allow into this country under the guise of being refugees. Oh, and also put them on welfare, give them healthcare and food stamps, so they can be nice and healthy the next time they set off a car bomb in Times Square, or take an illegally gotten AK-47 into Toys are US so they can go meet Allah and get their 77 sluts to serve them in paradise.

Let's face it. The Government is powerless to stop guns and it's pointless to battle terrorism with laws. Terrorist cells don't give a shit about the laws. It reminds me of when LBJ tried to fight a war from the White House, it didn't work. We are stuck with a blinding bureaucracy during a time of a very broken two party system.

The politicians can put a year long wait on the purchase of firearms it's not going to stop someone from getting one whether it be purchased, stolen or brought in from another state with more lenient laws. Yeah - 50 bucks; a trip to Lowes and Rite Aid; and I can build something that will make a big boom and take out or injure anyone nearby. I'm afraid that terrorism is just a fact of modern life; I'm not going to worry about it any more than I worry about getting hit by a cement truck when I'm driving through town.

Bad stuff happens either by accident or by design. That sucks, but that's life. If part of the terrorist plan is to create fear; they've lost that battle when it comes to me. I can't understand how anyone could think this was a hoax ! One of my friends lost his brother on 9/11, he was on a work trip from Toronto just for the morning, he never got out of Tower 2. The family was given a part of his collarbone after DNA tests about 3 yrs. later, and continued to receive pieces for the next couple of years. I cried every time he told me more of him was coming home.
