To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.
March 1934-July 2016
I loved the early Our Gang (Little Rascals).
He was a cute kid in those films, and married to Jane Powell to boot. RIP.
Today you could be standing next to someone who is trying their best not to fall apart. So whatever you do today, do it with kindness.
Trivia Note: Dickie Moore is the gang member referred to as a 'little rascal' after he tricks her into taking castor oil in episode "Free Wheelin'".
Dickie continued to act into the late 1950's. Two of his most notable was in 1941's "Sergeant York" with Gary Cooper, playing Alvin York's younger brother George. The other is 1947's "Out Of The Past", a mystery/thriller, with Robert Mitchum and Kirk Douglas. Moore played a deaf-mute older teenager working at a small town gas station who seemed to know all the town's dirty little secrets...Moore's role was moderate but key to the plot and his performance was excellent.
Of course Dickie had the starring role in 1933's version of "Oliver Twist".
RIP, one thing will always remember about him
is his nice big eyes.
Carolyn(1958-2009) always in my heart.
