I just saw this on TMZ. http://www.tmz.com/2015/03/21/mexica...s-in-the-ring/

Here is the video of the full match. Looks like he was kicked between his shoulder blades???? At 6:19 you see him exit the ring and then pop right back in, then another wrestler kicks him in the back, between his shoulders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VSk7bwPPOM He then goes completely limp, done, dead. Very sad but VERY quick! Prayers for his family, rip

    Dang - RIP.

And yeah, at least it was fast. I wonder if he had some other condition going on that contributed to it.

Aguayo's Wikipedia page now says death was due to cardiac arrest brought on by the neck injury. The claim is footnoted, but the link is to a Spanish language source.

In Mexico, wrestling is still taken seriously compared to the US. Reminds me of Owen Hart's death except this one was a one in million chance of happening.

It's really eerie that at 6:19 is when the move that possibly cost him his life is performed which is also called The 619.

The other clip facing the side of the ring that he falls on is much clearer but guy looked like he was gone just before the 619, its amazing how quickly the light fades from a person's eyes.

It looks like he botched his own move the roll before he gets up for the Hurricanrana and was in the process of going right after that.

One would think that shaking him around like a milkshake didn't help the situation...

After every wrestler's signature move, the opponent that got hit with the move always sells it (meaning acts like he was hurt by the move). Since wrestlers are so used to this, its common for them to be in the zone (so to speak) of the match and figure the opponet is simply selling the hit and won't know he/she was actually injured. You can find interviews from several wrestlers where this situation (being actually injured) has occurred and they have to try to signal the other wrestler or refree to get them to stop the match and get them medical assistance.

You can see one of the other wrestlers seems to get something might be wrong but then is "attacked" and goes to continue the match.

Poor man, seeing him go completely limp like that so sad. That first reports stated that somehow he completely broke his back and that caused his death. Very sorry he died but its a relief to know it was from a heart attack and not his back and it was immediate.

    RIP Mr Ramirez.
