    Glen A. Larson - 77

You may not know the face, but if you're a child of the TV 70s, you could see Glen A. Larson's name in the credits of a hit show almost every night of the week.

Larson, the television writer/producer behind Knight Rider, The Fall Guy, Quincy, M.E., Magnum, P.I. and Battlestar Galactica among others has died of esophageal cancer.

Larson was a member of 1950s pop group the Four Preps, and composed some of the theme songs for his hit shows. He also wrote for and produced for It Takes A Thief and McCloud.

It wasn't until I saw Knight Rider that I recognized him and was sad. Is that awful of me?
