star Bill Roache(Ken Barlow) is being charged with two
counts of rape against a 15 year old girl back in 1967.

I was shocked about Michael, one never knows does one what goes on in their personal lives.. hope it's not true, he will never work again if it is.

1967 was 46 years ago..is it even possible to prove the rape being so long ago ?? About ten years ago in a town not far from me a 34 year old man claimed that in 1978 at the age of 8 he was sexually abused by his gym teacher. Since the time frame between the alleged abuse and the time when police were contacted was 25 years..well long story short the victim couldn't prove anything and charges were dropped.

It is shocking, if the charges against Michael are true... there is no way anyone can justify that ! As for Bill Roache, why is this coming to light 40 plus years later ? It makes no sense.

Since all the Jimmy Savile stuff a lot more of these charges are coming out. I only hope the people bringing them are genuine and not just out for a quick buck. As someone said earlier I don't see how it can be proved one way or another all these years later.
Not just those two either. Remember Frank Foster? I forget the actor but he's been arrested for sex crimes against young boys!
