Most people outside of Canada think it's the
    Parti Quebecois(Quebec separatists) is the
political party who hate Canada the most

That is so wrong it's the racist dickheads
from the Conservative party first by the big
    time asshole Stephen Harper.

They all seem to hate Canada and our wonderful
Canadian way of life we have.

You mean to say Tim Uppal, the Conservative cabinet minister, is a closet Klansman and the traditional Sikh garb he wears is just a clever disguise?

Well, good afternoon fellow Canucks. The weather here in BC is luscious. The driest September we have had in years.

    No hockey though.

From my perspective, it's the Conservatives that care about ordinary people and the NDP who are bought and paid for by vested interests like Big Labour and Big Green.

Under the Harper government, the dollar has climbed to par, taxes were cut, and a Liberal-instituted program that allowed just about anyone in the world to work in Canada's technology sector (crowding out the locals and forcing them to seek work in the U.S.) was ended. From my perspective, the Conservatives are very friendly to ordinary people.

I remember when one of the first Tim Hortons in Michigan was being built at the end of my street when I was growing up. Someone wrote an angry letter to the local newspaper, up in arms and pleading for a petition, because they thought a Hooter's was opening down the street.

Just like Conservatives like Mitt Romney cares about ordinary workers
in the USA, I don't think so.

Also Prime Minister Stephen Harpers is an A number one
    big time asshole for Canada.

us to be the 51st of America.

Thousands of good people in Canada are boycotting Tim Hortons
because they are very anti Union.
a few examples in this City alone are:

    1) They fired a young Mother because she gave a baby
    a mini-donut.
    2) A few workers in a Tim Hortons wanted to join a union
but management were not sure who which worker tried it
so fired everybody in the place.
    3) Rumour has it that some disgruntled workers piss all over
    everything.

I'm all about a person's right to unionize and all, but I don't know if I could do it. The soup and tea biscuits are delicious.

Why Abbotsford? I have friends there. Would you like to stop by for a coffee and good home baked cookies?

If Justin Trudeau does get the Liberal leadership
I may even vote for his party in the next federal
    election.
Because we all know anything is better then the
    Conservative clowns.
But shhh, don't tell any of my NDP friends like
    Marion Boyd.
After all we in Canada could do worse like having
Ben Mulroney son of Brian(Mr GST)Mulroney run.

That's where my boyfriend is from. Nice to know I'd be welcomed by more people up there. I'm hoping to be out that way in February. There's a convention on Victoria he wants to take me to.

Just remember people the real Tim Horton was just a hockey
player who played for the Toronto Maple Leafs( Canada's team)
    plus others.
Who sadly killed himself driving drunk.

If he is from there then he is good folks. February isn't a bad month to travel. Everything is pretty much green and the weather is mild. I sure as heck hope they haven't raised the ferry fares before then. You almost have to take out a second mortgage to visit the Island. That said, Victoria is gorgeous!

He's wonderful. I'll leave it like that, as I tend to gush. Yes, from what he and a couple of friends that live on Victoria tell me, it's quite lovely. I'm looking forward to it.

Damn You Stephen Harper.(A truly evil Canadian)
and the Conservatives who laid off almost a hundred
    Beef Inspectors.
It's all his fault we now have this tainted beef crisis.

That no good prick Harper will now have to answer the
    people of Canada.

So I see Prime Minister Stephen Harper has left
the Country (good idea) he will now try and get
away from the tainted beef crisis.
When he comes back will still have to answer
why he fired all those meat inspectors.
    (it's all his fault)

I like watching hockey a lot. I guess its because its one of the few sport I understand fairly well. I grew up in Detroit and my remember my Grandpa and all of my Uncles huddling around a tiny black and white television shouting obscenities when I was little. I don't really know anything about sports negotiations or anything. What is the possibility of this actually working?

The NHL made the proposal Tuesday in what it said was an attempt to preserve a full 82-game schedule. The league publicly released the plan Wednesday.

Yes ---I love a hairy top lip too - not like those ugly, prickly looking beards and whiskers men are sporting today?!! Have you ever had whisker burn? The only makeup that covers it is Dermablend and it hurts worse than a sunburn.

    There's about a 50-50 chance
We all have our fingers crossed...The PA met with the league about 5 minutes ago to reply to the offer.

Actually Finn they're not refusing to play (as in "on strike") They've been locked out by the team owners, people who make even more money than the players do, over careers that span many more years than the average NHLer's does. But I get your point...
