Ooops, I guess I got carried away and misunderstood what you were saying. Sorry.
Georgia’s economy is projected to take a $391 million hit and shed about 3,260 jobs this year because of farm labor shortages, according to a report released Tuesday by the state’s agricultural industry.
Vino Wong, vwong@ajc.com Gary Paulk of Paulk Farm in Irwin County said in June he had to abandon five acres of blackberries because he couldn't get enough workers to pick the fruit.

Exactly. Earlier this year vidalia farmers were worried about harvesting their onion crop--no migrant workers. But some local Anglos hired on. I guess they were the hearty few.
Oh, and in Alabama hispanic parents are taking their children out of school because of the new law that requires the school system to check whether or not a child is legal. So they are being denied an education--punished for something they had no say in. These families will either move or home school or just fall through the cracks. I am for keeping the laws, but, goddammit, I am for human rights first, and I don't give a pickled fuck what the government says.
