    David Lloyd, Emmy Award winning writer


    David Lloyd, three-time Emmy award winning writer best known for his Emmy award winning "Chuckles Bites the Dust" episode of the Mary Tyler Moore Show, passed away last Tuesday from prostate cancer at the age of 75.

    Over the course of his career, Mr. Lloyd wrote for The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson, The Dick Cavett Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Phyllis, Rhoda, Taxi, Wings, Cheers and Frazier among others.
