This is such a sad story. The murdered girl was 8 months pregnant with a 36 year old man's baby. He has been described as her adoptive brother. She was apparently lost in the system.

The whole thing is very odd. The "gitm" (trying to have spelling corrected) was waiting for her bus to the alternative school around 6am. Apparently a family member had walked out and waited a bit with her, and as they walked back to the house, they heard shots.
Some dipshit reporter scared the hell out of other kids waiting for buses to another high school-she couldn't get close enough to the scene, so she asked the other kids if they knew the girl that had just been shot in the drive-by.
sad story- hope the baby will survive.
Poor girl. I think slow prolonged torture would be a fitting punishment for her sicko killer!

Here is the latest article. The police knew for 7 weeks that something had been done to this girl, and nobody ever got around to her. It is so tragic.
