I had read that things were getting worse for her but I figured she still had a little fight in her. So sad! Rest In Peace Farrah...

    Wow, you guys are fast!

She was a total icon when I was growing up in the 70's. Every teenage boy in our neighborhood had her poster on his wall. It's good she's out of pain. I hope her son straightens out, but with a father like his, it seems doubtful.

Always liked her, especially after she proved her acting ability in The Burning Bed...she was no fluff actress..I can still see her skateboarding on Charlie's Angels..She will be missed....too bad her son couldn't get his shit together and be there for her through her long struggle with cancer..he was the answer to her many prayers for a child

I'm glad she's not suffering anymore, it was a long battle. I pray for her son, Redmond, to recover from his addictions. I'm sure this was her last prayer too.

RIP Farah, May you rest in the arms of the Angels

I haven't gotten one either. They are sometimes very slow. .. don't know why. I've been thinking about just stopping my subscription because the news websites I visit are always faster.

Lovely collage on the front page Scott ...

Isn't she so tied to memories we have of her?

I was on set and saw all three angels filming in Santa Clarita, (Canyon Country). How cute, sweet, and animated they were.

In fondness ... Safe Journey Farrah.

Though I wasn't THAT big a fan of hers, I feel incredible sadness that she has left us. I'm relieved for her that the battle is over, and I feel comfort in the belief that she has gone on to the next thing. Goodbye for now Farrah. You sure will be missed down here............

Sigh. All that time spent holding up her poster with one hand...

Every generation has their sweetheart, their fantasy girl. Farrah was certainly that for a lot of guys my age. She's certainly one of those celebs whose passing actually touches me.

    Cancer freakin' sucks.

I guess this was to be expected, but still a shock and a bad surprise. R.I.P. Farrah! Now, you are at rest and free of pain. Thank you for making the 70's and 80's much more entertaining. First you were one of Charlie's Angels, now you'll get to be a real angel. Watch over your children. They'll need your help now, more than ever.

    RIP Farrah

I loved her in Dr. T and the Women. It's a movie worth seeing, IMO.

I wanted her hairstyle so bad, but my mom kept cutting my hair in a Dorothy Hamill style bowl cut. Mom didn't want the upkeep, I guess.
