    That would pretty well put a stop to the indigestion, I suspect.

    Ah, so many things to be proud of as a Tennessean. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

    He had been on death row since 1984.

    I wonder what percentage of death row inmates die of "something else" before they receive "justice."

    This argument is basically saying that society has no requirement to be better than those we convict of bad deeds.

    “does not guarantee a prisoner a painless death—something that, of course, isn’t guaranteed to many people, including most victims of capital crimes.”
