Stanley Park, Bridle Path
One article mistakenly referred to the trail as the 'bridal path'.
Quote:
About the trail names
Trail names recall, not only a city once transported by 'horse power' (Bridle Path), but many early pioneer names as well, especially those who were important in Park Board history.

The Bridle Path is quite long. You can actually view an eagles nest in a 500 year old Douglas Fir tree from the trail. It's frequently enjoyed by many nature lovers; walkers, hikers, bikers, equestrians.
Stanley Park is worth visiting, in person or on the web.
It smells amazing!!! It's pretty neat that you can be in the middle of deeps woods and rain forest just a few minutes away from a big city.

Stanley Park, Bridle Path
Stanley Park is home to some giant old growth trees. Unfortunately many have been removed for various reasons, most often the safety of park visitors.
Although the park has "hours" many people live in it. Vancouver is one of the most expensive cities in the world. It faces the common problem of gentrification and international investment.
