For those who have experienced a death recently. In Honor of those you lost.

For Rod, Kat and Opa.

I am still here.

For Dad.

For Caylee

For Caylee and all children lost

Keeping a candle lit until all of our soldiers, sailor, marines, airmen, coast guard members are out of the middle east.

For anyone who has ever felt lonely, sad, or afraid.

For anyone who has ever sought to find their place in the world, and claim it.

I suppose when it comes right down to it...

To my Mother and Father
How I miss you so much; each and every day
I think of you and I am sad; remembering the joy I had when you were both here
But in those times when I am grieving and my heart is heavy
I see a beautiful sky above me; a sunset that is truly miraculous
And I am comforted in knowing that you are both together there, in that beautiful sky
And one day, I will be there with you and all will be as it was

There are so many I need to light a candle for.

For my Grandma who died on my 9th birthday. You were the first to show me physical affection and treat me like I'm special.

For the Grandpa I never met. Your pain must have been severe to take your life before your only daughter was even married. I wish I could have met you.

To my other Grandpa. I miss you every day. All of your grandchildren think of you often and have a beer in your memory.

To my two babies. The first, I only knew for a day about you, but you were loved. The second, my Christmas baby, we had a week to love you before we lost you. I wish you were both here.

To Aunt Clara. I haven't seen you in almost 20 years. Yet, through your passing, we were able to take the opportunity to reunite with your children. I feel like I have found another side of myself.

My Mother in Law- time was way too short. I always loved watching you and my son together, I wish you could have gotten to know your granddaughter. I know you are caring for my two babies in Heaven- there could be no one better.

For all the lost children, and just the plain lost.
